About Us

Jointly created by Alasdair Bright and Karen Fryc, The Bedford Chronicles tells the story of Bedford as it has never been told before.

Alasdair is a Bedford Illustrator who has drawn for the likes of Sainsburys, The RSPB, The Independent, Red Bull and many more.
Karen is the owner of local company Get Into Bedford Ltd, started in 2011 Get Into Bed is an Events, PR and Promotions company.

Alasdair and Karen met in 2013 on a project to install the official Castle Quarter Sign now located on The Embankment in Bedford. It was through this project that they discovered a shared interest in Bedford's history and a wish to bring this history to life, and so, The Bedford Chronicles were born.

They are now working very hard to bring the history of Bedford to life in many different ways, so look out for lots more exciting things coming soon.
